Consultations are by appointment only and available:
- Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 5.30 pm
- Saturday 8.30 am to 11.30 am
We are closed on Sundays and Public Holidays.
Our Doctors work together as a team, so if the doctor of your choice is unavailable, you can see one of the other team members.
Standard appointments are 15 minutes duration, however we request you make a 30 minute appointment if you:
- wish to discuss several issues during the one appointment
- require a full check up
- have a sports injury or a musculoskeletal problem
- require a procedure (e.g. PAP smear), or require travel advice
- will be having a care plan created
Please advise our reception staff at the time of making your appointment if you require a 30 minute consultation.
If you have an urgent medical problem please let our reception staff know. We will do our best to see you as soon as possible.
Our Doctors aim to run on time and your punctual attendance will assist this. Please provide adequate notice if you're unable to attend a booked appointment as this time may then be offered to someone else who needs to see a doctor. Patients may be charged a “No Show Fee” if the appointment is not attended and the practice is not adequately advised before the appointment time.

Your Doctors Randwick is a private billing practice committed to providing high quality health care to all members of the community, valuing individual circumstance.
Each consultation generally incurs a private fee which is claimable through Medicare. Billing is at the discretion of the doctor in discussion with individual patients.
A schedule of our current fees is available at reception. Fees are payable at the time of consultation by cash, cheque, Visa, MasterCard or EFTPOS.
Scripts & Referral
Certain prescriptions and referrals may be obtained without seeing the Doctors, if they agree to this. It is helpful if you can provide 24 hours’ notice to deal with these requests. A small non-rebatable fee is usually charged.

All patients are offered enrolment to reminder systems appropriate to their care. If you do not wish to participate in this service, please discuss it with your Doctor or with our Receiption team.
For after-hours care, please discuss with your usual doctor. Alternatively, please phone the National Home Doctor Service directly on 137 425. They will provide us with a written report of any home visit attended by one of their Doctors.
For emergencies, please go directly to Prince of Wales, Sydney Children’s or St Vincent’s Hospital.
We make provision for home visits for existing patients within reasonable proximity to the practice. Patients who are unable to attend the practice for medical reasons can request a home visit by phoning the practice. Where possible, please ring in the morning so that home visits can be scheduled appropriately into the Doctor’s working day.
Telephone & Results Policy
Some uncomplicated results may be given over the phone if prior arrangement has been made with your doctor, who should also advise you the best time to phone. However, for privacy and medico-legal reasons, it is preferable to attend a follow-up appointment to discuss results. Should you phone to speak with the doctor for any reason and he/she cannot speak to you at the time, return phone calls are usually made by the doctors at the end of each working session. All urgent calls will be attended to immediately.
Privacy & Handling of Personal Information
Suggestions/complaints can be discussed with either your Doctor or the Practice Manager. If you are not satisfied with our service or your complaint cannot be resolved within the practice, you may wish to contact the Health Care Complaints Commission.
